20th Century Fox has released a new trailer and poster for the James Gray-directed, Brad Pitt-starring Ad Astra, which comes to cinemas later in the year. Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland are also amongst the cast of the film. First up, the new poster:
Official synopsis: Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.
Hope fully this will show up in some of the late-2019 film festivals (maybe Venice or even TIFF) – we’re even hearing Oscar-talk.
The date for release is 18th September so not that long to wait at all. Here’s that brand new trailer.
