I somehow missed this but the BBC has dropped a very brief teaser for the Peaky Blinders seasons 1-4 box-set which are available on their iPlayer platform, and within that trail is a look at the upcoming season five.
Now, there is some spoilerage going on in here, the biggest reveal being that it looks like Cillian Murphy’s iconic character of Thomas Shelby may be off to Westminster. Take a look at this:
Season four of Peaky Blinders ended in December od 2017, so we have been long overdue a follow-up series, but don’t worry, we’ll be getting our ‘Blinder’ fix later in 2019. There’s no specific date for the release of the new run as yet though, but it has been confirmed that the high-profile and extremely popular series will make the jump from BBC Two to BBC One this year, so expect a huge primetime slot. We’re hearing September/ October.

The full promo, which features some imagery from the previous four seasons can be viewed below. Seasons 1-4 are available on the iPlayer and on Netflix.
More as we get it.
By order of the Peaky Blinders, we just dropped every single episode back onto @BBCiPlayer
