Netflix has provided us with a first-look at an upcoming new original series titled Criminal. This revolutionary procedural comprises 12 unique stories set in 4 different countries: France, Spain, Germany and the UK. It takes place exclusively within the confines of a police interview suite. This stripped down, cat-and-mouse drama focuses on the intense mental conflict between detectives and suspects.
The episodes are in the local language, written and directed by talent from their respective countries.
There will be 12 45-minute episodes (3 episodes per country). The streamer has just released a first look announcement trailer and full cast details for each country.
