Sony Pictures has released an extended clip from the James Gunn-produced Brightburn which lands in cinemas in the summer. This is a very foreboding, quite violent, NSFW clip which should be approached with caution by younger readers. I found it a little unsettling, but it brilliantly sets the scene for the movie, which will hit cinemas in June.
Official synopsis: What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

Amongst the cast of the film are Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner. The film is based on a screenplay by Brian Gunn & Mark Gunn, and is directed by David Yarovesky.
Brightburn lands on 19th June.
