You could say that the 25th James Bond film is highly anticipated. There were rumours that we were to get a new Bond – prior to the announcement that Daniel Craig would return for one more 007 adventure – and then Danny Boyle joining, and then leaving the project (to then be replaced by Cary Fukunaga). Well, now we have a confirmed release date – April 2020.
News also reaches us (via The Playlist) that Scott Z. Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum, The Informant!, Contagion) has also been brought on board for a ‘heavy’ rewrite of the screenplay originally penned by Neil Purvis and Robert Wade.
Here’s the announcement of the release from the film’s producers, which hit the web late Friday. As you can see, the release date is set for 8th April, 2020.
We’ll bring you more news as and when.
