A Breaking Bad film is reportedly about to start filming. Reports have surfaced overnight that a film based on the very popular crime series starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul could begin filming very soon in Albuquerque, New Mexico under the title ‘Greenbriar’.
Original series creator Vince Gilligan is said to be behind the project, according to The Albuquerque Journal, who broke the story.
Story information and specific character involvement are obviously not known as yet, but the plot is said to revolve around the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.
Breaking Bad ran for five seasons over six years from 2008-2013 and even had its own spin-off with Better Call Saul, which is in its fourth season. The show airs on the AMC network Stateside and on Netflix in the UK and various other territories.
We’ll bring you more as it comes in.
