They can’t quite seem to let this one die. Following the original series starring Kiefer Sutherland and its spin-off from a couple of years back, it looks like a prequel to 24 is on the way. Joel Surnow and Bob Cochran are teaming up to write the script for the planned show, which will be set up over at Fox.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the new take will be an ongoing prequel series that tells the origin story of how Jack Bauer became Jack Bauer.
We are assuming that Sutherland won’t be reprising the role of Bauer in this one.
There’s no news on air dates etc, but rumours suggest that we may see it sooner rather than later. Obviously, we’ll keep you posted.
