Another big Hollywood name has joined Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Just yesterday, 8 names were added to the star-studded movie, which is being led by Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, and now Deadline reports that none other than Hollywood legend Al Pacino will join that select group.
The trade says that Pacino will play the character of Martin Schwartz, a Hollywood agent, in the movie.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood takes place during the height of hippy Hollywood and center around Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate.
Pacino’s character of Schwartz is the agent to DiCaprio’s character. The supreme cast also includes Burt Reynolds, Dakota Fanning, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Luke Perry and Damian Lewis (who plays screen icon Steve McQueen).
Shooting kicks off this summer for an Augist 2019 release.
More as we get it.
