Ahead of its Cannes world premiere in just a week’s time, two new clips have surfaced for the upcoming Ron Howard directed Solo: A Star Wars Story. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Paul Bettany, and lands in UK cinemas from May 24th.
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Check out the two new clips, one which features Chewbacca playing Holochess, along with another featuring a scene where Han meets Donald Glover’s Lando. There are also a couple of new posters too.
Solo: A Star Wars Story lands Stateside on May 25th, hence the slightly different release date to the UK advertised below.
