Burt Reynolds Is In Talks To Join Quentin Tarantino’s Next

Screen legend Burt Reynolds is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s next film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Deadline is reporting that Reynolds, star of the likes of Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit and Boogie Nights, will play the role of George Spahn, owner of the ranch where Charles Manson and his ‘family’ holed up, in the feature, which will kick off shooting later this year. The same report also says that Tim Roth, Kurt Russell and Michael Madsen, all of whom appeared in Tarantino’s last movie The Hateful Eight, are also in discussions to join the new project in smaller roles.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie are also amongst the impressive cast,

Set in Los Angeles in the summer of 1969, Tarantino’s upcoming movie focuses on a male TV actor named Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) who’s had one hit western series and is looking for a way to get into the film business. His sidekick Cliff Booth (Pitt) — who’s also his stunt double — is looking for the same thing. The horrific murder of Sharon Tate (Rick’s neighbour in the film) and four of her friends by Charles Manson’s cult of followers serves as a backdrop to the main story.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood has a release date set for August 9, 2019.
