Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’ Gets A 60th Anniversary Poster & Trailer

Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie Vertigo is heading back to the big screen to celebrate its 60th anniversary and we have the commemorative poster and trailer to share courtesy of the folks over at Park Circus.

Set in San Francisco, James Stewart portrays an acrophobic detective hired to trail a friend’s suicidal wife (Kim Novak). After he successfully rescues her from a leap into the bay, he finds himself becoming obsessed with the beautifully troubled woman.

One of cinema’s most chilling romantic endeavours: it’s fascinating myriad of haunting camera angles shot among some of San Francisco’s renowned landmarks.

The movie is due back in UK cinemas on July 13th and will also screen as part of this year’s Cannes film festival, screening as part of the Cannes Classics series on the Cinema de la Plage on the 15th of May.

A new poster and trailer have been released to celebrate the milestone, both of which you can see below.
