Post-Production Is Complete On ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’

We’ve got just over a month to wait until Solo: A Star Wars Story arrives in cinemas, and for those non-believers thinking that Ron Howard and co. wouldn’t meet the film’s spring deadline, we have some news; post-production is now complete.

Howard himself updated us through his social sites over the weekend.

Alden Ehrenreich appears in the film as a younger Han, while Atlanta star Donald Glover appears as Lando Calrissian and The Force Awakens‘ Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are also amongst the cast.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Ron Howard directs Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are the producers. Lawrence Kasdan, Jason McGatlin, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller serve as executive producers. Jonathan Kasdan & Lawrence Kasdan wrote the screenplay. Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in UK cinemas 24th May. It will premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival next month.
