Exclusive Images: The 2018 Glasgow Film Festival Ends On A High

The Glasgow Film Festival has drawn to a close after another successful year. The annual event enjoyed a record-breaking year, remaining operational during extreme weather conditions to finish with sell-out World Premieres of Scottish-made features Super November and Nae Pasaran.

Its opening weekend saw top talent such as Karen Gillan, David Tennant, Lynne Ramsay and Imogen Poots grace the GFF red carpet. The festival team worked tirelessly to ensure that GFF18 remained operational during the ‘Beast From The East’ storm and ended with a weekend of high-profile guests including Gemma Arterton and Ben Wheatley and sell-out screenings, including the return of the ever-popular FrightFest and the World Premiere of Douglas King’s aforementioned Glasgow-set dystopian rom-com Super November.

This year’s festival also screened new works from Wim Wenders (Submergence), Paddy Considine (Journeyman – pictured above), Cory Finlay (Thoroughbreds), Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon), Daisy Aitkens (You, Me and Him), Karen Gillan (The Party’s Just Beginning) and many more.
