The 24th annual Screen Actors Guild awards winners have been announced. Leading the way in the film categories was the superb Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which picked up the Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor for Francis McDormand, Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Supporting Role for Sam Rockwell, and the ensemble cast award. Gary Oldman picked by the lead actor for his role as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour, while Allison Janney was awarded the supporting actress gong for I, Tonya.
In the television fields, Nicole Kidman was awarded the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for her work in Big Little Lies, while Alexander Skarsgard picked up the lead male award for the hit HBO series. Claire Foy won lead actress for TV drama for The Crown, while Sterling K. Brown won lead actor for This Is Us.
