The trailer for the upcoming Beast Of Burden, which sees Daniel Radcliffe continue on his run of darker roles (in comparison to his Harry Potter days) as a drug mule. The film hits U.S. cinemas and on-demand services in February.
Radcliffe plays pilot Sean Haggerty, who must deliver cocaine across the US-Mexico border for his final run as a smuggler to save his wife. Amongst the cast are Grace Gummer and Pablo Schreiber.
Here’s the full synopsis:
Sean Haggerty only has an hour to deliver his illegal cargo. An hour to reassure a drug cartel, a hitman, and the DEA that nothing is wrong. An hour to make sure his wife survives. And he must do it all from the cockpit of his Cessna.
The film is directed by Swedish helmer Jesper Ganslandt, the screenplay written by Adam Hoelzel.
Beast Of Burden will arrive on February 23rd 2018 Stateside. There’s no sign of a UK release as yet. Watch the trailer below.
