USA Network has officially renewed Mr. Robot for a fourth season. The show, which is led by Rami Malek and Christian Slater, just had the final episode of the third season air Stateside.
Landing on the network in 2015, Mr. Robot follows a young, anti-social computer programmer Elliot who works as a cybersecurity engineer during the day, but at night he is a vigilante hacker. He is recruited by the mysterious leader of an underground group of hackers to join their organization. Elliot’s task? Help bring down corporate America, including the company he is paid to protect, which presents him with a moral dilemma. Although he works for a corporation, his personal beliefs make it hard to resist the urge to take down the heads of multinational companies that he believes are running — and ruining — the world.
Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallstrom, Grace Gummer, Michael Cristofer, Bobby Cannavale, and BD Wong are also amongst the cast.
Both Malek and Slater were nominated for Golden Globes for their roles in show earlier this week.
Malek is currently shooting the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, while Slater can currrently be seen on the London stage in Glengarry Glen Ross.
