After debuting it as Brazil Comic-Con over the weekend, Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse from their own Sony Pictures Animation.
The film reportedly follows the Miles Morales version of the character, and will land in cinemas next Christmas.
Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
Shameik Moore voices Morales, starring alongside Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali, and Brian Tyree Henry.
Featuring a unique style of animation, which we’re absolutely digging, by the way, the new teaser shows off a movie that, while a year off, could well be one of the most anticipated feature animations of 2018.
