The Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Trailer Is Here

Jurassic World made a ton of money back in 2015 – $1.6 billion in fact – making it one of the most successful movies ever made, so a sequel was on the cards whilst the first movie was still playing in cinemas. Jurassic World currently sits at the number four spot on the top grossing movies of all time, behind the likes of Avatar, Titanic and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It is Universal’s biggest money-maker of all time by quite a margin.

The Jurassic World franchise is growing in merchandise sales and spin-off licensing in the gaming world, like over at Europa Casino Offer for example, so the dino-series is a big one for the studi. Expect more of the same for the new movie.

The new movie sees Chris Pratt‘s Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire trying to save the dinosaurs from an erupting volcano. Other key cast members include  B. D. Wong, and a returning Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm (who we briefly saw in a behind the scenes clip earlier this week).

“Who has the best shot at preventing the prehistoric beasts from becoming extinct (again)? That would be Chris Pratt’s dino trainer Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard’s former park manager Claire Dearing,’ reports EW in a recent post.

“Claire’s founded an organization, Dinosaur Protection Group, and they’re finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island,” actress Bryce Dallas Howard says to the outlet. “She reaches out to Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to let him know this is happening.”

“When you see them at the beginning of this story, you get caught up as to what’s going on,” Howard says. “But it’s not what you would necessarily expect.”

Directed by J.A. Bayona (The Impossible), the epic action-adventure is written by Jurassic World’s director, Colin Trevorrow, and its co-writer, Derek Connolly. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again partner with Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow in leading the team of filmmakers for this stunning installment. Belén Atienza joins the team as a producer.

Fellow cast members include James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, and Rafe Spall.

Look out for the movie in cinemas from 22nd June, 2018. Watch the Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom trailer below.
