Following good impressions at Venice, Telluride and the Toronto International Film Festival, Andrew Haigh’s Lean On Pete has scored a new trailer courtesy of A24. Steve Buscemi, Chloë Sevigny, and Charlie Plummer lead the cast of the film, which will arrive in cinemas next year.
The drama follows a homeless teen in Oregon, whose best friend is a failing racehorse, sets off on a difficult journey to find his only known relative, who once lived 1,000 miles away in Wyoming.
Haugh is responsible for the likes of 45 Years and Weekend, so expect great things.
The film lands in UK cinemas on February 16th. Watch the new trailer below.
