Netflix has pumped out a brand new trailer for the upcoming second season of their hugely expensive royal drama The Crown. The series, one the flagship shows on the streamer, will arrive on December 8th.
Claire Foy, Matt Smith and Victoria Hamilton lead the cast of the drama, which this time sees most of the action take place in the 1960s.
‘With the world undergoing great changes, a damaged British monarchy must confront its past in order to have a future,’ says the official blurb.
“You married a wild spirit, trying to tame them is no use.” Elizabeth is told in the trailer. Claire Foy reprises her role as Queen Elizabeth II, though will be replaced in season three and four by Olivia Colman, as previously reported.
