Ahead of its release in December, Lionsgate has released the final trailer for their upcoming film Wonder. The film, which stars Jacob Tremblay in the lead, is based on the New York Times bestseller by R. J. Palacio about a boy born to stand out.
Wonder tells the incredibly inspiring and moving story of August Pullman (Tremblay), a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.
Tremblay appears alongside Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Mandy Patinkin and Daveed Diggs. Here’s the official synopsis:
Based on the New York Times bestseller, Wonder tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.
You can watch the final Wonder trailer below. Look out for the film in cinemas from December 1st, 2017.
