Gal Gadot has lined up her first post-Wonder Woman project. The actress is in talks to join Bradley Cooper in Deeper, a new film written by Max Landis.
Kornel Mundruczo (White God) is directing the project, which Landis describes as the sum total of “Birdman + The Shining + Locke + 2001 + The Descent + Miyazaki,”
Deadline reported the news of Gadot’s potential involvement. They also had some details on the plot.
In the drama, a disgraced astronaut embarks on a mission to reach the bottom of a newly discovered oceanic trench, theorized to be the lowest point on Earth. He encounters an increasing level of danger and soon finds himself in a psychological (and physical) fight against mysterious forces.
Deeper is set up at MGM, and we’re assuming that shooting will start very soon.
More as we get it.
