Her legend begins. We’re thrilled to share with you the first trailer for Tomb Raider, starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft. The Academy Award-winning actor stars as everyone’s favourite gaming heroine in what will be the third Tomb Raider film and reboot of the franchise. Angelina Jolie starred in the previous two films, which took a fair amount of box-office, but failed to generate much critical acclaim. So how will the new film compare? The film, directed by Roar Uthaug (The Wave), also stars Dominic West (The Wire) and Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), and arrives in cinemas in March 2018.
