After debuting at the Telluride Film Festival this past weekend, and with a follow up to that due in Toronto later this week, Lady Bird is Greta Gerwig’s solo directorial debut and the first trailer is now online.
Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, Lucas Hedges, Timothée Chalamet, Beanie Feldstein, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Lois Smith lead the cast of the film, which revolves around a California high school student who plans to escape from her family and small town by going to college in New York.
Early word is good for the feature, which Gerwig also wrote. It will open in U.S. cinemas on November 10th. A U.K. debut is yet to be determined.
