Evangeline Lilly has provided us with our first-look at her character in the forthcoming Marvel adventure Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is now in-production and set for a release in the summer of 2018. You can see the Ant-Man and the Wasp first-look below.
Ant-Man and the Wasp first-look
Ant-Man and the Wasp is the sequel to the popular 2015 movie Ant-Man, which raked in an impressive but far from Marvel series best of $519 million two summers back. It was of course more than enough to warrant a sequel.
Lilly took to Twitter to celebrate what would have been Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday.

Paul Rudd returns to play the character of Ant-Man in the forthcoming film. Joining him and Evangeline are the likes of Michael Peña and Academy Award winner Michael Douglas, who both reprise their roles from the first film.
Also along for the ride this time around are Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris and David Dastmalchian who again, all reprise their existing roles from Ant-Man. Newcomers to the series include Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne, along with Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins and Randall Park.
Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
Shooting is now underway in Atlanta for a July 6th, 2018 release date.
