Chris Hemsworth and Jeff Bridges are in talks to join Bad Times at the El Royale, the next directorial effort from Drew Goddard. The news of their potential involvement in the movie comes from The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision, who say that shooting is set to start rolling in January 2018.
The trade says that the story is set in the 1960s at a run-down hotel near California’s Lake Tahoe named the El Royale, and centers on a cast of characters whose own shady agendas will violently collide.
Goddard wrote and directed the superb horror movie Cabin In The Woods, a film that Hemsworth also starred in. Goddard is also responsible for the screenplays for The Martian, World War Z and episodes for the Netflix series Daredevil.
Hemsworth will next be seen in Thor: Ragnarok, while Bridges will next star alongside an all-star cast in next month’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
