The Rest Of Queen Have Been Cast In Musical Biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

Following the announcement of Mr. Robot’s Rami Malek’s casting as Freddie Mercury in Bryan Singer’s Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, it has been announced that his fellow bandmates have also been assigned actors to play the.

The film will see Gwilym Lee (Jamestown) as Brian May, Ben Hardy (X-Men: Apocalypse) as Roger Taylor and Joe Mazzello (The Social Network) as John Deacon. The news was announced by the official Queen website.

They also offered a further update in terms of the production.

“Although not yet privy to the all the finer details higher up the Hollywood chain, the Queen Team is now moving into position and meeting our new film colleagues and counterparts in what is proving to be a very exciting project. One thing, we can confirm is the detail on the band that the film company is going into is quite staggering, just ask Queen Archivist Greg Brooks…well, don’t actually, because he is too busy working on the movie.”

Shooting is set to star soon with a release date of Christmas 2018 looking likely.
