20th Century Fox are reportedly pushing ahead with a remake of the 1980s movie License To Drive, so says The Hollywood Reporter.
The original movie, released in 1988, starred Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, and revolved around a teen who decides to go for a night on the town with his friends despite flunking his driver’s test.
The film made a respectable $22 million upon its original release from a budget of around $8 million.
The remake, written by Alisha Brophy and Scott Miles (Girl Problems), will gender-swap the two leads, with a couple of female characters at the centre of the story.
That’s all we have at the moment. More as we get it.
