Heading to the Toronto Film Festival in Canada next month is filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated The Shape Of Water. We’ll be there to bring you a full review of the movie to these very pages, but here’s a look at some brand new images from the upcoming movie.
The film is described as an other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Rounding out the cast are Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Doug Jones.
The movie will open in cinemas in the U.K. from from December 4th with U.S. cinemas getting the film a few days later on the 8th. Take a look at the new images below, and the very first trailer over here.
