Actress CCH Pounder will return to the big-screen in James Cameron’s Avatar sequels, reprising her role as Moat from the original movie. Pounder played the Omatikaya Clan’s tsahik, or spiritual leader in the ground-breaking 2009 movie, and will appear in at least one of the four sequels that are currently in various stages of production.
Pounder joins the already cast Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver in the sequels, which are gearing up for a production start in September.
Avatar 2 will open in cinemas on December 18, 2020, with the other movies coming out in December 2021, 2024 and 2025.
