A bunch of new images from the incoming Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to the 1980s classic, have debuted online ahead of the film’s massive presence at next week’s San Diego Comic Con. Entertainment Weekly are the folks behind the new images, of which there are several, who publish them as part of their big Comic Con issue.
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
The film also stars Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks.
