It’s official. Samuel L. Jackson is set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the planned Captain Marvel movie. He will join Brie Larson in the film, who he co-starred with in last year’s Kong: Skull Island, who plays the title role.
Jackson will also appear in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, which is still shooting over in Atlanta for a release next year. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind) are directing the Captain Marvel movie, which has a release date set for March 8th, 2019.
Filming is expected to start on the film towards the end of the year.
Jackson will also be seen in Larson’s directorial debut Unicorn Store, which has a TBA 2017 release. The film revolves around a woman named Kit who receives a mysterious invitation that would fulfill her childhood dreams.
