Richard Armitage And James Callis Cast In Netflix’s Castlevania TV Series

Richard Armitage and James Callis have been cast in Netflix’s planned Castlevania TV series. The new venture will be based on the classic video games of the same name from Konami that was released on the original Nintendo consoles years ago.

Castlevania, also known in Japanese as Akumaj? Dracula, is a series of horror fantasy-themed action-adventure video games created and developed by Konami, centered on the Belmont family, a clan of vampire hunters, and their fight with Dracula.

In the animated series, based on the property, due on the streamier in July, Armitage will voice vampire hunter Trevor Belmont, while James Callis (Battlestar Galactica) will play Alucard. Alejandra Reynoso (G.I. Joe: Renegades) will play Sypha Belnades, Emily Swallow (Supernatural) is Lisa Tepes, Matt Frewer (Orphan Black) is The Bishop and Tony Amendola (Annabelle) voices The Elder.
