Lionsgate have released two new clips from their incoming release, the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me, which debuts in cinemas in the UK later this month.
All Eyez On Me tells the true and untold story of prolific rapper, actor, poet and activist Tupac Shakur. The film follows Shakur from his early days in New York City to his evolution into being one of the world’s most recognized and influential voices before his untimely death at the age of 25. Against all odds, Shakur’s raw talent, powerful lyrics and revolutionary mind-set propelled him into becoming a cultural icon whose legacy continues to grow long after his passing.
The feature film is written by Jeremy Haft & Ed Gonzalez and Steve Bagatourian, and is directed by Benny Boom (Next Day Air). All Eyez On Me stars newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr as Tupac Shakur; Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) as Afeni Shakur; Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries) as Jada Pinkett; Annie Ilonzeh (Empire) as Kidada Jones; Lauren Cohan (The Vampire Diaries) as Leila Steinberg and Jamal Woolard (Notorious) as Biggie Smalls. James G Robinson and David Robinson from Morgan Creek are producing along with Program Pictures’ LT Hutton.
Check out the new clips below. All Eyez On Me opens across the UK on 30th June 2017.
