Focus Features have provided us with our first look at Rupert Wyatt’s Captive State, a new thriller set to hit cinemas this summer. Take a look at this:
Vera Farmiga, Ashton Sanders and Jonathan Majors also star in the film which is set in a Chicago neighbourhood nearly a decade after an occupation by an extra-terrestrial force. Wyatt is the filmmaker responsible for Rise of the Planet of the Apes and The Gambler so we’re in for something quite different.
Wyatt and Erica Beeney co-wrote the screenplay for the film, which currently filming. It has a release date set for August 17th, 2018.
