Adam Sandler and Chris Rock are set to re-team for a new Netflix Original film. The duo, who appeared in the likes of The Longest Yard and the Grown Ups movies together, will star opposite one another in The Week Of, which will debut on the streamer in 2018.
The Week Of revolves around a wedding in which Sandler’s daughter is marrying Rock’s son. It is part of Sandler’s lucrative Netflix deal, one which has proved hugely popular with fans, who have apparently consumed over half a billion hours worth of his content.
Adam Sandler and Allen Covert will serve as producers on the new project with Robert Smigel directing the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Sandler.
