A couple of weeks ago we reported that Pedro Almodovar will preside over the jury at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Well, now he rest of the jury has now been unveiled. Joining Almodovar is: Suicide Squad and Focus star Will Smith, Toni Erdmann director Maren Ade, Chinese actress and producer Fan Bingbing, Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, French filmmaker Agnès Jaoui, Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook, French composer Gabriel Yared and The Zookeeper’s Wife actress and producer Jessica Chastain.
What a line-up.
This year’s festival kicks off in the south of France on May 17th and will run through to May 28th when the winners will be announced.
Uma Thurman will preside over the Un Certain Regard category of films, which runs alongside the main festival.
