Benedict Cumberbatch has added yet another project to his already busy schedule. The British actor has signed up to star in The Man In The Rockefeller Suit, a new film to be based on the book of the same name by Mark Seal.
Deadline reports that the film will play Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, a real-life imposter who posed as a member of the Rockefeller family, garnering several Wall Street jobs and a marriage along the way. When his con is found out, he risks losing custody of his daughter.
No idea as to when the film will start shooting as a director is yet to be secured. First up, Cumberbatch has The Current War where he plays Thomas Edison, and he’s currently playing Stephen Lewis in The Child In Time, the adaptation of Ian McEwan’s book.
