Ryan Reynolds has taken to his hugely entertaining Twitter page to reveal that none other than Zazie Beetz has been cast as Domino in Deadpool 2. The Atlanta star joins Reynolds in the high-profile Fox sequel that is heading to cinemas in 2018. This puts an end to various other casting rumours that surfaced online over the past couple of days.
Domino is a former mercenary turned member of the X-Men and has the ability to manipulate luck as represented by her expert marksmanship. She is also known for her witty personality.
John Wick director David Leitch is directing Deadpool 2 from a screenplay by the screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Reynolds will serve as a producer on Deadpool 2, alongside X-Men franchise caretakers Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.
It is currently scheduled for an early 2018 release with production starting very soon.
