Neil Purvis and Robert Wade, the geniuses behind five James Bond films from The World Is Not Enough to Skyfall, are set to return to write the next film in the 007 franchise, which will be the 25th official movie in the series.
The Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye reports the news, but there is no word on Daniel Craig returning. He is technically under contract to do so, but hasn’t been confirmed so far.
There is no release date for the film as yet, but we’ve been getting them every three years or so until now. Following SPECTRE‘s release in 2015, we’re due one next year, but Eon, who produce the franchise, haven’t given official word as yet. The film will also need a new director as Sam Mendes, who helmed the last 007 adventure had previously confirmed that he wouldn’t be returning to helm a third.
More as we get it.
