The cast of the Godzilla sequel is growing by the day. Following the addition of Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown just a couple of days ago, it has been revealed that Bates Motel star Vera Farmiga has also joined them. The actress will play the partner of Chandler’s character, and the mother to Brown’s character.
The sequel is officially called Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and is directed by Krampus helmer Michael Dougherty. It will continue on from the Gareth Edwards-helmed movie from 2014 and will lead in to a cross-over with King Kong, who appears in next week’s big opener Kong: Skull Island, which got a final trailer just last night.
Farmiga is currently appearing in the final season of Bates Motel, and next year will star opposite Liam Neeson in The Commuter.
Godzilla: King Of The Monsters opens on March 22nd 2019.
