2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards Winners In Full!

Yesterday in Santa Monica, California, the stars came out to celebrate the best in independent film, at the Independent Spirit Awards, a day ahead of the Oscars.

Moonlight was the big winner on the day, and picked up Best Feature, Best Director for Barry Jenkins, Best Editing, Best Screenplay for Barry Jenkins and Tarell Alvin McCraney, Best Cinematography and the prestigious Robert Altman award.

Isabelle Huppert won Best Female Lead for Elle, while Casey Affleck deservedly won Best Male Lead for his role in Manchester By The Sea.

In the supporting categories, Molly Shannon won Best Supporting Female for her part in Other People, while Ben Foster won Best Supporting Male for the superb Hell Or High Water.
