Logan post credits scene teased; Who will feature?

Logan post credits scene

Logan post credits scene teaser…

We sat through Logan at the press screening at the Berlin Film Festival late on Friday afternoon where the film was received very well indeed. Myself and a bunch of critics stayed on to sit through the very long credits sequence at the end of the movie to much disappointment, as there was no Logan post credits scene present at all, either right at the end of those credits, or indeed mid-way through, a bit like the Marvel movies…

Well, if you’re a fan, there is some news that may please you – the official release of the film, in cinemas in the UK from March 1st, may have a post credits scene. A little tidbit has come from Alamo Drafthouse Brooklyn senior manager Mike Sampson, who tweeted that Fox has officially updated the films runtime to being three minutes longer than the version shown to critics in press screenings across the world last week. Of course, that hasn’t yet been confirmed by 20th Century Fox, who are releasing the film globally. We sit in hope though.

The big question is, if there is one, who will feature?

If you need the official synopsis for the film, which rolls in at a hefty 130 minutes-plus anyway, check it out below.

In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His attempt to hide from the outside world gets upended when X introduces him to a young mutant named Laura (Dafne Keen). Logan must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her.

We were pretty positive abut the film after that screening on Friday, and you can catch our full reaction, with no spoilers, over here.

“Logan is the swan song for Jackman in his greatest role, and I challenge anyone not to well up with the perfect plot beat that you’re left with as the movie eventually fades to black.”

More on the Logan post credits scene if and when it heads our way.
