Our mates over at HeyUGuys scored themselves a bit of a scoop on the BAFTA red carpet on Sunday evening. They spoke with Game Of Thrones and X-Men star Sophie Turner who revealed that a new X-Men movie is set to shoot later in 2017.
“We’re about to start shooting the next X-Men, we’ve just finished shooting Season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I’ve got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season 8.”
Turner plays the character of the young Jean Grey in the current X-Men series, which began all of the way back in 2011 with X-Men: First Class.
The next film will be set ten years on from the events of X-Men: Apocalypse in the 1990s. Of course nothing official has been revealed by makers Fox. You can see Turner’s comments in the player below.
