He’s currently shooting Mary Poppins Returns in London, but Lin-Manuel Miranda has been speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about his smash-hit musical and plans to bring the story to the big-screen. The trade paper asked the musician and actor outright if there were any plans for the Broadway smash to transition onto the screen.
“Yes!” was Manuel’s instant response, before he followed it up with:
“Who knows when?…I don’t think I’m done with that role [on stage], by any stretch”.
