Direct from the Berlin film festival, where we type this, we have a very first look at Dev Patel in the forthcoming Hotel Mumbai.
The film tells the astonishing true story of the victims and survivors of the devastating attacks on Mumbai in 2008, a story which fearlessly tackles the defining global issues of our time; people of all races, colors, creeds, coming together in a fight for survival. The film celebrates humanity’s highest ideals – compassion, courage, resilience and an unwavering desire to live.
Anthony Maras is directing from a screenplay co-written with John Collee, inspired by the documentary ‘Surviving Mumbai.’
Patel is also an executive producer on the film Armie Hammer, Anupam Kher, Jason Isaacs and Nazanin Boniad.
Take a look at the first official image above. Hotel Mumbai will be released later in the year.
