Colin Farrell and Denzel Washington have joined the cast of the planned thriller Inner City, so reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Nightcrawler‘s Dan Gilroy is behind the project, which the trade describes as revolving around ‘an awkward, reclusive lawyer, to be played by Washington, who has worked as a legal researcher in Los Angeles for decades. When his mentor passes away, he is recruited by a prestigious and more cutthroat law firm where he stumbles upon a case that changes his entire life.’
They adde that Farrell will play the slick, money-focused lawyer in the movie.
Gilroy will direct from his own screenplay.
Washington stars in the upcoming Fences, while Farrell was last seen in Warner Bros’ Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
