Wolves, the new Michael Shannon film which will debut later this year, has just got itself a new trailer.
The film is a drama which also stars Carla Gugino, and sees Shannon play father of a young basketball protege with a gambling addiction whose bets are massively starting to impact on his family’s lives.
Here’s the proper synopsis which explains it all better.
An 18-year-old basketball star who is being recruited by Cornell University seems to have it all figured out: captain of his team, a good student, has a longtime girlfriend and some good friends. But at home he’s struggling with his troubled father who has a gambling addiction. His mother tries to keep the family afloat but does so with great emotional and financial sacrifice.
Wolves has a U.S. street date set for the 3rd March. It is currently awaiting a UK release. Watch the new trailer below.
