It’s a sad time for fans of The Vampire Diaries, the show is ending later this year. But, there is some happy news as Nina Dobrev has announced that she is to return for the finale. Since leaving the show Dobrev has started carving a career in the movie industry, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage being one of them. Later this year she will also star in the remake of Flatliners. Let’s face it, things haven’t quite been the same since Elena Gilbert left Mystic Falls. Therefore her return to The Vampire Diaries is sure to be welcomed. It’s also reassuring that the creators look to be winding the show up in a way that will satisfy fans.
