Daniella Pineda (The Detour) has joined the cast of Jurassic World 2 in a leading role. The actress. Pineda, who has also appeared in The Vampire Diaries and spin-off The Originals, as well as the 2015 movie Sleeping With Other People, will join the already cast Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Justice Smith, and of course Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the high-budgeted sequel from A Monster Calls director J.A. Bayona.
Shooting on the film will reportedly kick off in London and Hawaii from February 2017 and will shoot from a screenplay by the first film’s director Colin Trevorrow and writing partner Derek Connolly.
The first Jurassic World, released in 2015, made a whopping $1.67 billion in global box-office receipts, making it one of the top five grossing movies of all time.
